Privacy Policy

Updated

This Privacy Policy describes how MeshyFit (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the MeshyFit iOS app and this website (meshyfit.com). It is written to match the app’s current product rules. It is not legal advice.

Summary (same promises as in the app)

  • The camera is used only when you start a workout.
  • Processing is on-device: camera frames and body landmarks are not saved or uploaded.
  • Optional on-screen landmark overlays stay in memory for display and are not persisted.
  • Workout history, XP, levels, weekly commitment, badges, and preferences stay local on your iPhone (SQLite / preferences). There is no account and no cloud sync in the current product.
  • Analytics (when collection is enabled) uses a typed allowlist of product events — no PII, free text, images, or body coordinates.
  • Purchases go through Apple In-App Purchase; entitlement status for pro is verified with RevenueCat.
  • Apple Privacy Nutrition Labels for the app declare no tracking and empty collected-data categories for the current Privacy Manifest baseline.

Camera and pose (on-device only)

When you grant camera permission (explained during onboarding: “Your camera stays private”), MeshyFit uses the live camera feed to estimate pose landmarks and count squats on the device.

Product rules for the current release:

  • Do not store camera frames.
  • Do not store workout video.
  • Do not store or upload frame-level body landmarks.
  • Do not upload pose coordinates to analytics or servers.

If you deny camera permission, counting will not work, but local history that already exists remains accessible.

Local data on your device

The app may keep locally:

  • Workout summaries (for example reps, duration, quality grades, combo summaries used for XP)
  • Progression (XP, level, weekly commitment progress, badges)
  • App preferences (locale, landmark overlay visibility, and similar settings)
  • A cached subscription entitlement snapshot so Pro status can work offline

Deleting the app removes local data unless it is retained in your own device backups.

Result cards and sharing

You may export a non-sensitive result card (for example score / XP style summary) as a temporary image through the system share sheet. Temporary files are cleaned up after sharing. Result cards are designed to avoid sensitive pose imagery.

Purchases and subscriptions

Paid access uses Apple’s payment system. MeshyFit maps an active pro entitlement through RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment card details. You can restore purchases in Settings / Paywall. Billing, cancellation, and refunds follow Apple’s terms.

Core squat counting, basic feedback, restore purchases, and access to your local history are not paywalled.

When analytics collection is enabled, MeshyFit may send allowlisted product events such as onboarding steps, workout start/complete buckets, paywall and purchase outcomes, and restore results.

Analytics must not include:

  • Personally identifiable information
  • Free-text fields
  • Images or video
  • Body landmark coordinates or other sensitive pose data

Collection can be disabled through the app’s analytics consent controls (setCollectionEnabled).

Notifications

If you allow notifications, MeshyFit may schedule local reminders related to your weekly commitment. Reminder content does not include pose or camera data.

This website

meshyfit.com is a static marketing site (landing and legal pages). We use Google Analytics 4 (G-VZCLKKBB7C) on this website to understand aggregate traffic (for example page views). Google may process standard web analytics data according to its own policies. Hosting provider logs may also include request metadata (IP address, user agent, URL) for security and reliability. The website does not process your workout camera feed.

Your choices

  • Deny or revoke camera permission in iOS Settings.
  • Turn landmark overlays off in Settings.
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple ID subscription settings.
  • Disable analytics collection when the consent control is offered.
  • Remove local data by deleting the app (and related device backups if applicable).

Children

MeshyFit is a general fitness habit app. It is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app if you are not permitted to do so under applicable law.
